Job summary

Carrière Uitzendbureau zoekt een Metal Production / Machine Operator voor een fulltime positie in Nijmegen in een 2-ploegendienst. Je werkt aan hoogwaardige roestvrijstalen buizen en technische componenten in een moderne productieomgeving.

Je bedient productieapparatuur, snijden, buigen, polijsten en afwerken volgens technische tekeningen en werkinstructies. Je controleert afmetingen en kwaliteit, registreert afwijkingen en handelt volgens procedures.

Qualifications

• Ervaring in metaalbewerking of technische productie.
• Ervaring als machine-operator is een pré.
• Relevante ervaring met snij-, buig-, polijst- of afwerkingswerkzaamheden is een plus.
• Ervaring met roestvrij staal is een pré.
• Vloeiend Engels of Nederlands op minimaal B1-niveau.

Responsibilities

• Snijden, buigen, polijsten en afwerken van roestvrijstalen pijpen en componenten.
• Bedienen van snij-, buig- en andere productieapparatuur.
• Opzetten van machines volgens werkinstructies.
• Voorbereiden van materialen voor lassen of assemblage.
• Gronden, polijsten en afbramen van metalen onderdelen indien nodig.
• Lezen van technische tekeningen en productie-instructies.
• Meten van onderdelen met meetgereedschap.
• Controleren van afmetingen en kwaliteit van afgewerkte producten.
• Meldden van productie- of kwaliteitsafwijkingen.
• Volgen van veiligheids- en kwaliteitsprocedures.

Job description

We are looking for a Metal Production / Machine Operator for a full-time position in Nijmegen, working in a 2-shift system. You will cut, bend, polish and finish high-quality stainless-steel pipes and technical components in a modern technical production environment. Hourly wage €17.00 – €21.00 gross (depending on experience), plus 16% shift allowance and 8% holiday allowance.

We are looking for a Metal Production / Machine Operator to work with high-quality stainless-steel pipes and technical components.

This is a hands-on technical position where you will operate production equipment and make sure components are produced according to technical specifications. Depending on your experience, you may work with cutting, bending, polishing or finishing processes.

What will you do?

• - Cut, bend, polish and finish stainless-steel pipes and components
• - Operate cutting, bending and other production machinery
• - Set up machines according to work instructions
• - Prepare materials for welding or assembly
• - Grind, polish and deburr metal components when required
• - Read technical drawings and production instructions
• - Measure components using technical measuring tools
• - Check finished products for dimensions and quality
• - Report production or quality deviations
• - Follow safety and quality procedures

Wat wij vragen:

• - Experience in metalworking, machining or technical production
• - Experience as a machine operator is preferred
• - Cutting, bending, polishing or finishing experience is an advantage
• - Experience working with stainless steel is preferred
• - Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage
• - Experience using measuring tools
• - Practical and technically minded
• - English or Dutch at minimum B1 level
• - Willing to work in a 2-shift system
