Job summary

Foot Locker, Inc. seeks a Merchandiser to optimize product allocation across stores and regions, enhancing customer experience and NPS while driving sales and margins.

You will work with the Allocation Manager to place buys and manage merchandising distribution with data-driven insights. You will analyze store and SKU performance daily, coordinate store transfers, and ensure data integrity in SKU attributes across our systems, including Quantum.

Qualifications

• BSC/BA degree required.
• Retail experience in-store is advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Excellent analytical and numeric abilities.
• Ability to handle changing priorities under time pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and quick information retrieval.
• Culturally aware with some exposure to diverse cultures.
• Interest in sports and fashion; youth culture preferred.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Across the Geographical Region (Geo) analyze store and SKU performance daily/weekly to optimize distribution, replenishment, and sales and NPS.
• Together with Allocation Manager place buys using the Order Planning tool, considering sizing requirements.
• Collaborate with Allocation Manager to identify and execute Store to Store Transfers.
• Provide input to Allocation Manager on adjustments to merchandise distribution plans based on trends, store performance, and field feedback.
• Update SKU attributes in our database, ensuring data integrity of attributes fed into Quantum.
• Communicate with Allocation Manager and CX/Sales to capture and act on opportunities and drive Geo-level business.
• Maintain and update sizing analysis in our database.
• Check and amend PO discrepancies.

Overview

As a Merchandiser at Foot Locker, you will drive customer experience in store and increase NPS, while maximizing sales, margin, and liquidation. You will be reporting to the Assortment Manager, the Merchandiser directly impacts the success and profitability of our business by allocating products to stores across their geographical region. You will help to drive sales by placing: “the right product in the right place in the right size at the right time” for wherever and whenever the customer chooses to convert. With an eye for analyzing data and spotting sales opportunities, you also ensure best use of available merchandise in line with the latest sales trends. You will help identify trends they periodically travel the market, and be surrounded by the product in the office there is direct contact with the items that are shipped to stores on a daily base.

• Check and amend PO discrepancies.

Qualifications

• BSC / BA degree.
• Retail experience in a store environment is an advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and natural curiosity in learning new systems.
• Very strong analytical and numeric skills.
• Natural ability to process change and work under time pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to retrieve information quickly and accurately.
• Culturally aware, some exposure to working within different cultures.
• Interest in sports and fashion, Youth Culture is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English (verbal & written).
