Job summary

Foot Locker Utrecht is seeking a Store Development Coordinator to support Design, Construction, Procurement, and Facilities and Real Estate functions. You will coordinate governance, portfolios, and timelines while delivering insights to leadership.

The role requires managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a hybrid work setup and an emphasis on operational excellence and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience in project coordination, operations, PMO, or a similar support role, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint); experience with project management and reporting tools, with Power BI as a plus.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication, ability to work with different stakeholders, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable, with strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and integrity, with the ability to work independently, handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Leverage AI and digital tools to improve productivity, efficiency, and ways of working.

Responsibilities

  • Handle highly confidential business information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Manage and maintain Real Estate and Store Development documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and accessibility.
  • Coordinate project governance activities, including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, action tracking, follow-up, and documentation of key decisions.
  • Maintain portfolio reporting, project schedules, dashboards, and KPI tracking to provide visibility on project performance.
  • Support projects throughout the full lifecycle, including setup, approvals, budget tracking, reporting, change management, and closeout.
  • Prepare management reports, business insights, and executive presentations to support decision-making.
  • Maintain project data and reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns and supporting mitigation plans.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, standardization, and operational effectiveness.
  • Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, driving collaboration and communication.

Overview

The Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Store Development (Design, Construction, Procurement, and Facilities) and Real Estate functions by coordinating project governance, portfolio reporting, operational planning, and process excellence across multiple workstreams. Acting as a key operational partner to leadership, this role serves as the central point of coordination between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project priorities, budgets, risks, timelines, and strategic objectives. The position provides visibility into portfolio performance through data-driven reporting, business insights, and operational recommendations that support informed decision-making. This role requires ability to work independently, strong organizational and coordination skills, analytical capability, ability to manage priorities, working effectively with a variety of stakeholders, with a strong focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
