Job summary

Zoku Amsterdam is seeking a Meeting & Events Specialist Intern to be the first contact for reservations, guiding clients from inquiry to post-event experience. This internship starts in February 2027 and requires you to work five days a week while studying a hospitality program.

You’ll handle the M&E inbox, qualify leads, conduct site visits, and coordinate with the Operations Team to ensure flawless execution.

Qualifications

• Hospitality student required for mandatory internship (min 6 months).
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
• EU resident or valid NL work permit; start Feb 2027; five days a week.
• Prior experience in communication- and reservation-oriented roles preferred (front office, sales, events).

Responsibilities

As a Meeting & Events Specialist Intern at Zoku Amsterdam (starting in February 2027), you’ll be the first point of contact for all meeting and event reservations, guiding clients from their first inquiry to a flawless post-event experience.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Be the first point of contact: You’ll handle the M&E inbox and phone calls, qualify leads, conduct site visits, and guide clients from inquiry to booking.
• Make every event count: You’ll manage contracts, negotiations, and upselling, ensuring that each event is optimized for both the client and Zoku.
• Own the event process from start to finish: You’ll coordinate with the Operations Team, making sure all relevant details are received, communicated, and flawlessly executed.
• Keep relationships strong: You’ll manage post-event feedback, invoicing, and account relationships, helping to build long-term loyalty with partners.

A FEW MUST HAVES

• You are a student at a hospitalityuniversityand need to do a mandatory internship (min. 6 months)as part of your curriculum.

• You are available to start in February 2027 and can work five days a week.
