Job summary

Zoku Amsterdam is seeking a Meeting & Events Operations Intern to coordinate and operate all M&E activities for unforgettable events. You’ll support the Meeting & Events Lead, host guests, and work with Kitchen and Sidekick teams to ensure flawless experiences.

You’ll gain hands‑on operations experience, engage guests, and help improve offers through feedback analysis. Internship requires hospitality background and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Must be a hospitality student required to do an operational/administrative internship for at least 6 months.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• EU resident or valid working and living permit for the Netherlands.
• Available to start in August 2026; flexible schedule expected.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate Meeting & Events activities to ensure memorable experiences.
• Assist with hosting duties, including welcoming hosts and supporting event hosts.
• Engage with guests to embody Zoku's hospitality concept and collect feedback for improvement.

During your Meeting and Events Operations Internship (starting in January or February 2027) you'll be the go-to person, mediator and problem solver for all meeting & events hosted at Zoku Amsterdam.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating and operating all M&E activities to ensure unforgettable events, while gaining hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations. You'll manage food and beverage orders together with the Kitchen team and the Sidekick team. Ultimately, you love to host a good party!

Creating memorable meetings:

Picture yourself as the ultimate juggler. Supporting the Meeting & Events Lead, you'll be the muscle behind our epic corporate gatherings. By welcoming the event hosts, you'll ensure every detail is spot-on for a flawless experience.

Be the host:

You’ll show off your inner barista, beer tapping skills and make sure that our meeting & events guests needs are met during their time with us. After events, you’ll analyze feedback to improve our offers and processes.

Connection Connoisseur:

With your charm and wit, you'll be the life of the party! Engaging with our Meeting & Events guests, answering their burning questions – you'll be the face of our unique hospitality concept, leaving a lasting impression wherever you go.

A FEW MUST HAVES

• You are a student at a hospitality university and need to do a mandatory operational/administrative internship (min. 6 months) as part of your curriculum.
• You are fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
• You are an EU resident or have a valid working and living permit the Netherlands.
• You are available to start in August 2026 and flexible as there are no fixed working days / hours.
• You have practical experience in hospitality.
