Job summary

Zoku Amsterdam is seeking a Meeting & Events Operations Intern to be the go-to person for all M&E hosted at our Amsterdam location. You will coordinate and operate event activities, from welcoming hosts to ensuring flawless execution and post-event feedback analysis.

As a hospitality-focused role, you’ll guest-relate with guests, support beverage service, and collaborate with kitchen and Sidekick teams to deliver memorable experiences and learn on the job in a vibrant, multi-national setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality environments or events is preferred.
• Strong communication and guest-relations skills are essential.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to help across tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and operating all Meeting & Events (M&E) activities to ensure flawless events.
• Welcome event hosts and manage details for a smooth, memorable experience.
• Host duties including basic beverage service and post-event feedback analysis for improvements.
• Engage with guests to embody the brand’s hospitality concept and foster connections.

During yourMeeting and Events Operations Internship(starting in January or February 2027)you'll be the go-to person, mediator and problem solver for all meeting & events hosted at Zoku Amsterdam.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating and operating all M&E activities to ensure unforgettable events, while gaining hands‑on experience in the day‑to‑day operations. You’ll manage food and beverage orders together with the Kitchen team and the Sidekick team. Ultimately, you love to host a good party!

Creating memorable meetings:

Picture yourself as the ultimate juggler. Supporting the Meeting & Events Lead, you’ll be the muscle behind our epic corporate gatherings. By welcoming the event hosts, you’ll ensure every detail is spot‑on for a flawless experience.

Be the host:

You’ll show off your inner barista, beer tapping skills and make sure that our meeting & events guests needs are met during their time with us. After events, you’ll analyze feedback to improve our offers and processes.

Connection Connoisseur:

With your charm and wit, you’ll be the life of the party! Engaging with our Meeting & Events guests, answering their burning questions – you’ll be the face of our unique hospitality concept, leaving a lasting impression wherever you go.

• Have operational experience and / or previously worked in event management and banqueting.

A FEWMUST HAVES

• You are a student at a hospitalityuniversityand need to do a mandatory operational/administrative internship (min. 6 months)as part of your curriculum.
• You are fluent inEnglish, other languages are a plus.
• You are an EU resident or have a valid working and living permit the Netherlands.
• You are available to start in August 2026 and flexible as there are no fixed working days / hours.
• You have practicalexperience in hospitality.
