Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Nijmegen, Netherlands, is seeking an Analyst Quality Control to ensure product quality through QC testing, lab upkeep, and regulatory compliance. This on-site role offers occasional evening shift flexibility.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate results and drive continuous improvement, requiring a science or engineering degree and 2–3 years of QC laboratory experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a diploma from a university or technical college in medicine, science or engineering with a minimum of 2–3 years' experience in Quality Control Laboratory.
• Proficient in laboratory software and computer applications; able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance principles; fluent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience in NMR, HPLC, KF and microbiological analysis techniques for working in a QC laboratory.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine QC tests to evaluate the quality of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods.
• Follow established procedures for sample collection, preparation, and analysis to ensure accurate results.
• Record and report test results accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the QC laboratory in a clean and organized state and ensure availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
• Perform incoming inspection of chemicals and materials upon order and delivery to the QC laboratory.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure accurate and reliable test results; troubleshoot issues as needed.
