Job summary

ViCentra is hiring a Product Cybersecurity Engineer to secure our connected diabetes devices, apps and systems from concept to post-market. You will embed security into hardware and software architectures, shaping how we design safe, compliant medical tech for EU/US guidance and regulators.

You will drive threat modelling, risk assessments, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to implement secure controls and verification tests, extending across embedded devices, mobile apps

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, CS or related field.
• 3+ years in product cybersecurity with safety processes.
• Strong writing and documentation skills.
• Fluency in English and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on security design for embedded devices, apps and cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead product security analyses including threat modelling and risk assessments.
• Translate threats into technical security requirements for compliance.
• Collaborate with development teams on secure implementations (boot, update, crypto).
• Develop specs, test plans and QA documentation for security features.
• Coordinate security verification, penetration tests and regulatory docs.
• Support incident response and post-market security monitoring.
