Job summary

Tooker is seeking a medior Project Engineer to design, build and commission machines and production lines from A to Z. You will lead medium-sized projects through all phases, from 3D design to component selection and planning, communicating with clients and coordinating on-site progress.

You will contribute to budgeting, schedules and process improvements, while joining a dynamic, informal team that values growth and ownership. Hybrid work and room for development are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an engineer within mechanical engineering/production automation.
• Completed mechanical engineering degree at MBO+ or HBO level.
• Knowledge of hygienic design for the food industry is preferred.
• Commercial acumen and strong communication are essential.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Realize medium-sized projects from start to finish in our mechanical engineering division.
• Ensure efficient execution and clear communication toward the customer.
• Work on innovative machines that we design, build and commission ourselves.
• Create 3D designs, select components and set up planning.
• Visit client sites for technical coordination and progress checks.
• Monitor budgets and ensure projects stay within scope, time and budget.
• Help build processes, standards and professionalization across the organization.
