Reintjes Systems is seeking a technically skilled Project Manager / Work Planner to oversee projects from engineering through completion. You will monitor schedules, costs, and agreements, acting as a primary contact for clients and the internal team.

Job description

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a technically skilled Project Manager / Work Planner. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for overseeing our projects from the engineering phase through to completion. You’ll monitor the schedule, costs, and agreements made, and serve as a key point of contact for both our clients and the internal team.

In addition to project management, you’ll be involved in work planning, procurement, and further improving our workshop and internal processes. You’ll have a great deal of freedom and responsibility to implement improvements on your own.

What will you be doing?

• Supervising and monitoring projects from the engineering phase through to completion.
• Preparing and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and agreements.
• Maintaining contact with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Conducting technical design reviews and ensuring the quality and manufacturability of designs.
• Preparing work for production and assembly and ensuring that materials and information are available on time.
• Purchasing parts and materials and maintaining contact with suppliers.
• Identifying bottlenecks within projects and independently ensuring they are resolved.
• Further developing our work planning, procurement, and workshop operations to enable us to complete projects more efficiently.

Who are you?

• You have a technical MBO or HBO degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• You have experience in mechanical engineering and sufficient mechanical engineering knowledge to evaluate technical designs.
• You’re good at maintaining an overview and know how to coordinate engineering, planning, costs, and people.
• You have strong communication skills and enjoy interacting with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• You are proactive, have a practical mindset, and don’t wait around when you see that something can be done better or differently.
