Job summary

Vistra Netherlands has an exciting opportunity as a Medior Financial Services Accountant Corporates for our international client portfolio. You will report to the Manager Accounting Services Corporates and collaborate with experienced Financial Services Accountants, relationship managers and legal colleagues to deliver high-quality corporate services across client entities.

The role requires strong Dutch GAAP knowledge; IFRS is a plus, excellent English communication, 3–5 years of relevant

Qualifications

• Good level of Dutch GAAP; IFRS knowledge is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; Dutch is a plus.
• You are proactive, a team player, focused on quality, able to meet deadlines.
• Interest in the wider international financial world.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience (trust office, audit firm or financial institution).
• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance (e.g., Accounting, Business Economics).

Responsibilities

• Prepare Financial Statements.
• Prepare bookkeeping (accruals, interest calculations, sales entries, capital contributions, intangibles) per Dutch GAAP and IFRS principles.
• Review or prepare client distributions and capital contribution requests.
• Prepare and review client monthly/quarterly reporting.
• Coordinate CIT & VAT returns and assist with audits.
• Prepare CFI reports for the Dutch Central Bank.
• Maintain contact with shareholders, clients, banks and accountants.

has an exciting opportunity as a Medior Financial Services Accountant Corporates for our international client portfolio.

Scope

You will report directly to the Manager Accounting Services Corporates. In your day to day activities you will work with experienced Financial Services Accountants, along with dedicated relationship managers and legal colleagues.

You will work together with the internal stakeholders to ensure high client satisfaction, solve complex questions and provide a full range of corporate services for your client entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Financial Statements;
• Prepare bookkeeping (accruals, interest calculations, sales entries, capital contributions, intangibles, according to Dutch GAAP but also IFRS principles);
• Review and/or prepare the (dividend) distributions and capital contribution requests;
• Review (and preparation) of Client specific monthly/quarterly reporting;
• Review and coordinate the CIT & VAT returns;
• Prepare the audit file and provide the assistance with statutory audits;
• Perform quarterly transaction monitoring and creating transaction profiles;
• Prepare CFI reports for Dutch Central Bank;
• Maintain contact with shareholders, clients, banks, accountants and other external and relevant parties.

Key Requirements

• Good level of Dutch GAAP, knowledge of IFRS is an advantage;
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, Dutch is an advantage;
• You are pro-active, team player, focused on quality, persuasive, able to set priorities, work with deadlines and flexible.
• Interest in the wider international financial world;
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience (preferably at a trust office, audit firm or other financial institution);
• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance (e.g.. Accounting, Business Economics, Business Administration).
