Job summary

Compliance Champs in Rotterdam seeks a Senior Consultant for Crypto Compliance to develop and implement regulatory programs across MiCAR, AML, KYC and GDPR.

You will advise clients, conduct risk assessments, lead audits, and train staff, while staying ahead of crypto regulatory developments in a fast-growing Dutch consultancy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably in financial sector or crypto.
• In-depth knowledge of MiCAR, AML, KYC, and GDPR; crypto market experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance programs meeting MiCAR, AML, KYC, GDPR.
• Conduct risk assessments and establish risk mitigation measures.
• Manage internal audits and prepare regulator/management reports.
• Advise and train employees on compliance best practices.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external partners for clients.
• Set up processes for new products and services.

As aConsultant Crypto Compliance, youare responsible fordeveloping, implementing, and enforcing compliance strategies for our clients within the crypto industry. You work closely with our internal teams and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize risks. Yourexpertiseand advice will be crucial inmaintainingour integrity and reputation in the market.

Yourtasksandresponsibilities

• Developing and implementing compliance programs that meet relevant regulations, such asMiCAR, AML, KYC, and GDPR.

• Conducting risk assessments andestablishingrisk mitigation measures.

• Managing internal audits and preparing reports for regulators and management.

• Advising and training employees on compliance issues and best practices.

• Staying updated on the latest developments and trends in cryptocurrency and blockchain regulations.

• Maintaining client relationships and directly liaising with regulatory authorities and other external partners on behalf of our clients.

• Assistingin setting up processes and procedures for new products and services.
