Job summary

Compliance Champs is seeking a senior compliance consultant to advise clients on complex integrity challenges, develop and implement frameworks, and drive governance improvements.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct investigations and risk assessments, and translate regulatory changes into practical solutions for financial institutions and crypto-related clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in law, finance, business administration, or related field
• At least 5 years in compliance or related field
• Strong regulatory knowledge across applicable laws and standards
• Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to be based in the Netherlands and visit client sites as needed

From Financial Economic Crime (FEC) to Regulatory Compliance and Integrity & Investigations, we support our clients in building resilient, future-proof organizations that operate with integrity.

This is not a traditional consulting role.

Depending on your assignment, your working week (for example) from Monday to Thursday will mainly consist of carrying out an assignment at one of our clients. These range from financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, investment companies) to crypto-asset service providers, football clubs and notaries. On Fridays, the Compliance Champs team comes to the office in the centre of Rotterdam, where you will contribute to areas such as Business Development or Talent Management and work alongside the other consultants and working students to help professionalise and skill Compliance Champs.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in the related field.
  • Experience in one of the following sectors: Banking; Insurance; CASPs; Trust Offices; Investment Firms or Payment Service Providers (PSPs)
• Regulatory knowledge: You possess knowledge of essential laws and regulations
• Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
  • High level of integrity and a proactive attitude
• Language: Strong communication skills, with fluency in Dutch (required) and excellent English (spoken and written).
• Availability:
