Job summary

Blackbird Cloud in Amsterdam is seeking a Medior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and manage advanced AWS cloud infrastructures, focusing on secure and scalable environments and seamless migrations.

Join our team as a Medior Cloud Engineer and take ownership of designing, building, and managing advanced AWS cloud infrastructures. You’ll be a key player in seamless cloud migrations, ensuring our clients’ environments are secure, scalable, and efficient. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing existing cloud solutions and providing strategic cloud technology advice.

• designing and building AWS infrastructure for hybrid and cloud-native workloads
• implementing and managing Kubernetes (EKS) and containerized architectures
• developing CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments
• creating reusable platforms for microservices and distributed applications
• managing governance and security policies for multi-user environments
• migrating infrastructures to AWS
• establishing monitoring and observability practices using tools like CloudWatch and Datadog

We're looking for someone with AWS experience, knowledge of container technologies like Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, or ECS, and proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform and AWS CDKTF. You'll bring experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), knowledge of native and hybrid architectures, and a strong ability to collaborate with development and operations teams. You should thrive in a self-steering environment, taking ownership of tasks and projects, and be eager to identify and implement improvements.
