Job summary

Vitestro in Utrecht, Netherlands, is pioneering autonomous robotic phlebotomy and healthcare robotics. As a medior C++ software engineer, you will own software components for hardware-integrated systems, designing, implementing and improving robust C++ software that interacts with multiple subsystems in real time.

You will collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4–7 years of experience developing C++ software in a professional environment.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining production-level software systems.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++17/20).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of software components within hardware-integrated systems.
• Ensure system reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Work on new features in the scope of the motion team.
• Solve complex integration issues from production and the field.
• Contribute to improving existing software architecture.
• Design, implement, and improve robust C++ software.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers and systems engineers.
• Contribute to debugging, automated testing, and code reviews.
