Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Service Centre Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, test, and maintain company products within our service centre in the Netherlands. You will use established procedures and diagnostic tools to identify faults and ensure repaired products meet quality and performance standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant technical experience in repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, or a similar technical environment.
• Ability to read technical documentation, schematics and diagrams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, particularly when exchanging technical information with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house servicing and repair of company products within the Service Centre.
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and system failures using established procedures and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot faults using schematics, diagrams, specifications and other technical information.
• Perform testing, maintenance and calibration of repaired products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Accurately document repairs, test results, product failures and other relevant technical information.
• Prepare reports and contribute to the analysis of product failure trends and serviceability issues.
• Collaborate with field-based technicians and internal teams to obtain and share technical information supporting diagnosis and repair.
• Identify and highlight recurring technical issues and opportunities to improve repair and service processes.
