Job summary

Flex, via Motion Controls International (MCi), seeks a Project Manager to lead mechatronic product development from concept to industrialization, delivering on Cost, Quality and Time. You will head cross-functional teams spanning hardware, software and mechanical engineering and partner with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics, Software Eng or related.
• Minimum 3 years end-to-end project management experience with responsibility for Scope, Cost, Quality and Time.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary product development projects with Hardware, Software and Mechanical disciplines.
• Experience managing projects through a structured stage-gate or phase-gate process.
• Automotive or regulated industries experience preferred.
• Experience in ASPICE environments preferred.
• Proven ability to create structure and clarity in complex situations and align stakeholders.
• Customer-focused, results-driven and able to influence without direct authority.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary product development projects from concept through industrialization.
• Be accountable for project delivery regarding Cost, Quality and Time (CQT).
• Define project scope, planning, milestones, budgets, risks, dependencies and resource needs.
• Lead project teams and drive collaboration across engineering disciplines.
• Conduct feasibility studies and support business case development.
• Monitor progress and resolve technical and project-related issues.
• Report status, risks, budget performance and recovery plans to management and stakeholders.
• Manage customer-facing project communication and commitments.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure projects follow the development process and governance model.
• Support transfer of products from development to manufacturing.
