Flex, a leading Flex company, is seeking a Research Engineer to develop mechatronic actuators and define product concepts based on market needs. You will work with MCi teams to identify differentiators, perform modeling and patent research, and help shape the MCi technology roadmap on a global scale.

You will engage with customers and suppliers, translating requirements into technical specifications while advancing innovative automotive technologies in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Industrial design.
• 5+ years of experience in development of mechatronic actuation.
• Experience working with customers, suppliers, OEMs, or automation companies.

Responsabilités

• Gather market needs and translate into product system requirements.
• Identify technology differentiators and market landscape insights.
• Design concepts for mechatronic actuators and model product requirements.
• Conduct patent research and contribute to IP strategy.
• Collaborate with MCi Business Development and tech experts to define new markets.
