Job summary

Forexx Group in the Netherlands is seeking a Mechanical System Designer to translate customer requirements into system-level mechanical and mechatronic solutions within multidisciplinary environments.

You will lead design analyses, develop work packages, and coordinate a team of engineers, balancing theory with practical implementation while maintaining design principles across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience developing complex mechanical or mechatronic systems.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Familiarity with engineering tools and simulation methods.
• Ability to balance theory with practical solutions.
• Understanding of design principles across the product lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills and coordinating technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into mechanical and mechatronic system concepts and designs.
• Perform analyses such as strength, stiffness, and design optimization.
• Define and execute technical work packages, including planning and estimation.
• Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers.
• Identify technical risks and define mitigation strategies.
• Ensure alignment and collaboration across different engineering disciplines.
