Job summary

Marel in Boxmeer, Netherlands, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer SystemFlex to help design, develop and sustain configurable conveyor systems for poultry processing. You will contribute across the product lifecycle in a digital, model-based engineering environment.

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, have 3–5 years’ relevant experience, and are proficient with Creo and Windchill, CTO concepts, and modular architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience engineering technical systems in machine building, food processing, or related industries.
• Experience with Creo and Windchill.
• Experience with configurable products and CTO is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support lifecycle management for assigned systems and product families.
• Develop customer-specific solutions based on standard products and modular building blocks.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and document design changes clearly.
• Create and maintain technical drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Ensure compliance with machine safety requirements and international standards.
• Translate customer requirements into configurable technical solutions within a model-based engineering environment.
