Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for SystemFlex to design, develop, and sustain configurable conveyor and transport systems for poultry processing. You’ll work in a hybrid, collaboration-driven environment with cross-functional teams to ensure high hygiene, reliability, and manufacturability while advancing automation and digital engineering capabilities.

The role emphasizes CTO-based product platforms, modular architectures, and model-based engineering in a global setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in engineering technical systems, preferably in machine building or food processing.
Ability to turn ideas into practical industrial solutions while meeting business objectives.

Responsibilities

Support lifecycle management for systems and product families.
Develop customer-specific solutions based on standard products and modular blocks.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document design changes clearly.
Ensure technical documentation enables efficient manufacturing and cost control.
Maintain compliance with machine safety standards and international regulations.
Configure and develop mechanical aspects using 3D CAD and PDM per PDP.
Create and update BOMs, drawings, and engineering docs.
Contribute to standardization and automated configuration processes.
