Job summary

JBT Marel in Boxmeer is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to drive the development of our next generation production systems for poultry processing. You translate ideas and customer needs into robust, manufacturable designs using Creo, and collaborate across Innovation, Supply Chain, Sales and Service.

This hands-on role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a creative and analytical mindset, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• 3–5 years of experience as Mechanical Design Engineer or similar.
• Experience with CAD and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative systems and modules.
• Translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
• Ensure designs focus on cleanliness, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Create and document designs in 3D CAD (Creo) and prepare engineering documentation.
