Job summary

E2M Technologies BV, part of the MTS group, is a fast-growing high-tech company based in Amsterdam with manufacturing in Mijdrecht. We design, develop and manufacture electric motion and control loading systems for vehicle simulation, entertainment rides and R&D environments.

We seek a Mechanical Engineer to transform concepts into working machines across concept, design, manufacturing, testing and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Up to 4 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Siemens NX.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
• Proactive, hands-on engineer with ownership mindset.
• Strong English communication; cross-disciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical parts and assemblies using Siemens NX.
• Create detailed production drawings and BOMs.
• Perform kinematic, motion, and collision analyses.
• Select and apply manufacturing methods (machining, laser cutting, welding, casting, and 3D printing).
• Support assembly, testing and commissioning with workshop team.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineers.
• Contribute through product lifecycle from concept to customer delivery.
• Participate in technical reviews and drive continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of engineering decisions and problem-solving.
