Job summary

E2M Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Amsterdam to design and develop motion platforms from concept to delivery. You will work across mechanical, electrical, and software domains, driving engineering decisions with a hands-on, proactive approach.

Require a degree in mechanical engineering and up to four years of experience, with 3D CAD proficiency (Siemens NX). The role emphasizes collaboration, manufacturing know-how, and ownership of solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Up to 4 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Siemens NX.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical parts and assemblies using Siemens NX.
• Create detailed production drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Perform kinematic, motion, and collision analyses.
• Select and apply manufacturing methods such as machining, laser cutting, welding, casting, and 3D printing.
• Support assembly, testing, and commissioning activities with the workshop team.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Software Engineers.
• Contribute across the product lifecycle from concept to customer delivery.
• Participate in technical reviews and drive continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of engineering decisions and problem-solving.
