Job summary

You will design and model mechanical parts and assemblies, develop 3D CAD models, prepare drawings and bill of materials, and coordinate with production and purchasing to ensure manufacturability. Qualifications

• MBO or HBO in mechanical engineering or a similar technical degree.
• Some work experience or internships in mechanical design or construction.
• Experience with 3D CAD software.
• Good command of Dutch, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support designing and modeling mechanical parts and assemblies as Mechanical Designer.
• Develop 3D CAD models and produce drawings and bill of materials.
• Coordinate designs with production and purchasing to ensure manufacturability.
• Perform simple calculations and tests; assist with prototypes and testing.
• Collaborate with production colleagues on prototypes and serial products.
