Job summary

Van der Hoeven Group is seeking a mechanic irrigation to ensure optimal water supply for greenhouse customers. You will install, maintain and repair irrigation systems, install pipes and pumps, troubleshoot issues, test new systems and advise customers on best usage.

The role offers hybrid work, a collegial environment and opportunities for professional growth. Ideal candidates have a technical background, experience or willingness to learn irrigation systems, and a Dutch language proficiency.

Qualifications

• A technical background.
• Experience with irrigation systems or willingness to learn this.
• Affinity with the greenhouse horticulture sector is a plus.
• A solution-oriented attitude and an eye for detail.
• Driving licence B and willingness to work occasional breakdown shifts.
• Good command of the Dutch language.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing irrigation and water systems.

As a mechanic irrigation, you will ensure that our greenhouse customers have properly functioning irrigation systems.

Your tasks include:

• Installing, maintaining and repairing irrigation and water systems.
• Installing pipes, drip systems and pumps.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions in water systems.
• Testing and commissioning new systems.
• Advising customers on the optimal use of their irrigation systems.
