Job summary

Van der Hoeven Horticultural Projects is seeking an Electrical Engineer to install, maintain and repair electrical systems in horticulture. You will travel daily, work outdoors and indoors, lay ducts and cables, and connect panels, motors and sensors.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will have a varied job and be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in horticulture. You will be on the road daily, working both outdoors and indoors. You will lay cable ducts and power cables and work on, among other things, assembling and connecting our switch panels. But connecting motors, sensors and electrical valves are an integral part of the job. If you have a bit more experience, you will also fix malfunctions and can grow into (worldwide) commissioning of the process computer that controls all these things.

Your profile

• Willingness and motivation to learn the profession.
• Completed technical MBO education.
• In possession of driving license B.
• Command of the Dutch language.
• A go-getter with enthusiasm for technology.
• Willingness to participate periodically in breakdown services.
• Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel (internationally).
