Job summary

ELEO Technologies in the Netherlands seeks a System Simulation Engineer (MBSE) to advance electrification via 1D simulations of battery and ePowertrain systems for off‑highway applications.

You will design, run and analyze models, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with design, engineering and R&D to push data‑driven improvements.

Requires 5+ years in 1D simulation, degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred), and experience with GT-SUITE/AMESim/MATLAB; strong English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• At least 5 years in 1D simulation engineering, with a focus on battery and ePowertrain systems.
• Proficiency in GT-SUITE, AMESim, MATLAB or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English language skills, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine 1D simulation models for battery and ePowertrain systems to predict performance and optimize designs.
• Analyze simulation results to identify improvements and provide actionable design insights.
• Collaborate with design, engineering and R&D teams to integrate simulation results into development processes.
• Explore concepts to drive innovations that improve system efficiency and performance.
• Document models, results and methodologies; prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Stay updated on latest simulation tools and best practices to enhance capabilities.
