Our client is an international manufacturing business experiencing increased operational demand and is seeking an Interim Material Planner on a 3-month contract starting January.

The role sits within the purchasing team and focuses on short-term material planning, supplier coordination, and ensuring production continuity. The position can be based in Hoofddorp or South Holland, with travel to Genk, Belgium for training and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing material planning and purchase orders to support production.
• Coordinating with suppliers on deliveries, shortages, and timelines.
• Resolving supply, invoice, and shipment discrepancies.
• Working closely with production, inventory, and logistics teams.
• Maintaining accurate planning data within the ERP system.
• Monitoring inbound materials and escalating risks as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in material planning, purchasing, or supply chain within manufacturing.
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• ERP and Microsoft Office experience.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent English; Dutch would be a plus.

Start date mid‑January. Interim role with no permanent scope. Training in Genk, Belgium.
