MR MARVIS is seeking an experienced Store Manager in Amsterdam to lead daily operations, drive sales, and coach a diverse team. You will ensure outstanding customer experiences while maintaining brand-aligned visuals and inventory controls.

The role requires 2+ years in retail leadership, strong KPI usage, and fluency in English and Dutch. Join a fast-growing, international team that values development, inclusivity, and community events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role within retail.
• Strong coaching and development of a diverse team.
• Track record of achieving sales targets using KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations to ensure top-notch presentation and smooth processes.

• Recruit, train and schedule store colleagues to ensure optimal staffing for peak times.
• Own stock management, counts, replenishment, and loss prevention measures.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute brand-aligned displays and placements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues with a solution-oriented approach.
• Organise in-store events and local community activities to strengthen brand presence.
• Complete administrative tasks, sales reporting and cash handling accurately.

What You'll Do

• Lead the daily operations of the store to ensure excellent presentation, smooth processes and a welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.
• Drive sales performance by coaching the team, setting clear targets, monitoring KPIs and acting on insights to improve results.
• Recruit, train and develop store colleagues; create schedules, manage rotas and ensure optimal staffing for peak times.
• Own stock management and inventory procedures, including stock counts, replenishment and loss prevention measures.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute local store windows, displays and product placements in line with brand guidelines.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and manage customer issues with a solution-oriented approach.
• Organise and host in-store events and community activities to strengthen local brand presence.
• Complete administrative tasks, sales reporting and cash handling procedures accurately and on time.

Who You Are

• Proven retail management experience, typically 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Passionate about the MR MARVIS brand, presentation and customer experience.
• Strong leader who can motivate, develop and coach a diverse team with a positive and hands-on approach.
• Commercially minded with experience working to targets and using KPIs to drive performance.
• Organised, reliable and able to balance operational duties with people management.
• Excellent communicator in English and Dutch.
• Comfortable with retail technology and basic reporting tools.
• Available to work 40 hours per week including one day in the weekend.
• For non-Europeans, a valid working permit for the Netherlands is required.
