Job summary

Skytree is looking for a Marketing Communications Intern to join our Amsterdam team and gain hands‑on experience across PR, content, design and events, helping tell the Skytree story to engage our audience in a mission‑driven climate tech company.

This role is ideal for someone who loves creating content and turning ideas into blogs, press releases, posts, banners and videos. You’ll work autonomously and with a team to support campaigns and internal communications.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from university program in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media or related field.
• You enjoy creating content across formats (blogs, press releases, social posts, visuals).
• Professional working proficiency in both Dutch and English.
• A self-starter: proactive, curious and eager to take the initiative on new challenges.
• Comfortable working both autonomously and collaborating in a team.
• Organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines at once.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (including LinkedIn) and digital marketing tools.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with design or video tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut) is a plus!
• Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
• Passion for climate technology and sustainability.
• You are based in the Netherlands, within commuting distance to Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• Create content across formats: blogs, press releases and LinkedIn posts, with accompanying visuals.
• Gaining hands-on experience in the creation of social visuals, graphics and video content.
• Support internal communications where needed (announcements).
• Capture content (photos/videos) at events, in the office and on site for sharing.
• Research and identify events where Skytree should be present to reach customers.
