Job summary

ASM Maritime in Amsterdam is seeking a Technical Superintendent to oversee the technical operations of assigned vessels, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards. You will coordinate maintenance, repairs, and docking activities with onboard crew and shore teams.

You will inspect vessels, manage budgets, procure technical resources cost-effectively, advise the crew, participate in incident investigations, and implement corrective actions as required.

Qualifications

• Education in Marine Engineering, Dual Purpose, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Technical Superintendent or similar role in the maritime industry.
• Strong knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Background as Chief Engineer on board Crude Oil and/or Chemical Tankers.
• Good general IT knowledge.
• Possession of a category B driving license.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.
• Ability to work from the office in Amsterdam.
