Job summary

Jifmar Group in Den Helder, The Netherlands, is seeking a Technical Superintendent to keep the fleet running and push operations forward. Take full responsibility for a fleet from dry dock to deck plate, with focus on ship performance, safety and smart operations.

You will visit vessels regularly, lead maintenance via CMMS with crew, ensure compliance with flag, class and certification, manage budget and dry-dock planning, and support new builds and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with flag, class, and certification requirements
• Lead maintenance using CMMS in collaboration with crew
• Monitor vessel condition and drive technical improvements
• Own the budget and cost control for maintenance, repairs, and dry docks
• Plan and attend dry dockings and technical stops
• Promote QHSE policies and safety at all times
• Visit each vessel at least twice a year and issue inspection reports
• Support technical aspects of new builds and second-hand acquisitions
