Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent experience in CS/EE.
• Experience configuring and parameterizing complex software, not building from scratch.
• ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
• Comfort with configuration files and data formats (XML, JSON, YAML), scripting, SQL and log analysis.
• Good knowledge of Linux and networking to isolate issues with a Deployment Engineer.
• Strong documentation discipline and ability to explain system behavior clearly.
• Understanding of radar/AIS sensors and how tracking data is produced.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and document the application configuration baseline.
• Apply and verify standard sensor and tracking settings from the baseline.
• Translate the customer’s procedures into concrete system configuration.
• Design and execute functional test sets and FAT/SAT preparations.
• Own findings from testing through resolution with teams and engineers.
• Act as primary contact for customer staff and train users as needed.
• Identify gaps between product capabilities and customer expectations and escalate appropriately.
• Develop reusable configuration templates and regression test sets.
