Job summary

Royal IHC in Kinderdijk, Netherlands is seeking a Propulsion Engineer to design and implement propulsion and drive technology for complex ship systems. You will prepare designs, drawings and calculations, monitor customer requirements regarding budgets, standards and quality, and collaborate with lead engineers across disciplines.

The ideal candidate holds an HBO degree in mechanical engineering, has at least three years of relevant experience, excellent English, and a hands-on, team-oriented

Qualifications

• HBO level in mechanical engineering (WTB) required.
• Minimum of three years' relevant experience in propulsion/drive technology.
• Strong affinity with drive technology and good communication skills.
• Fluent English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design propulsion and drive technology, and provide drawings and calculations.
• Monitor budgets, standards, quality, planning and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with lead engineers and other disciplines on sub-processes of projects.
