Job summary

Royal IHC in Kinderdijk, Netherlands, is seeking a Hydraulical Tester to test hydraulic components and systems on our advanced test benches. You will work closely with engineers to diagnose issues and ensure compliance with maritime standards, while maintaining a robust testing environment.

Responsibilities include commissioning HPUs and winches, generating detailed test reports, and collaborating with a small team to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• MBO-level education or technical field is preferred.
• Experience interpreting hydraulic schematics, drawings, and test specifications.
• Solid foundation in technical English; Dutch is a plus.
• EU work visa required.
• Hoisting certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Testing and adjusting hydraulic manifolds and components on test benches.
• Conducting functional tests on HPUs, hydraulic and electric winches, and other ship systems.
• Commissioning HPUs and winches to integrate with vessel drive systems.
• Collaborating with engineers to resolve technical challenges and improve performance.
• Maintaining and optimizing the test environment and equipment.
• Preparing detailed test reports with accurate documentation.
