Job summary

Den Breejen Shipyard is seeking a Buyer to support the Purchasing Department with broad responsibilities in procurement for projects and general inventory. You will advise on suppliers, process purchase orders, and monitor deliveries in collaboration with project teams.

The role requires an MBO level education in procurement/technical field, and good Dutch language skills with basic English. An informal, team-focused environment and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Good communication in Dutch; basic English.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, equipment and services on time and within budget.
• Support supplier selection, management and evaluation; assist negotiations.
• Maintain supplier master data and ensure PO accuracy.
• Negotiate delivery dates aligned with project needs.
• Coordinate procurement of rental and purchased items with project teams.
• Ensure deliveries meet project requirements and budgets.
