Job summary

Bennet & Boss B.V. is seeking a Junior Project Buyer to support procurement for engineering and construction projects in the Netherlands. You will coordinate suppliers, prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, create purchase orders, and monitor delivery status to ensure on-time, on-budget project execution.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–3 years' procurement experience, preferably in engineering or energy sectors. Fluent English is essential; Dutch language is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–3 years of procurement experience.
• Experience in engineering, industrial, construction, or energy sectors preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement for project materials, equipment, and services.
• Review requisitions and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Prepare RFQs and assist with bid evaluations.
• Support negotiations on pricing, delivery, and terms.
• Create and maintain purchase orders and procurement records.
• Track deliveries and supplier performance; escalate issues.
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and supplier improvements.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, quality and HSE standards.
• Provide procurement status updates to project teams.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation in ERP systems.
