Royal Dirkzwager is seeking a Maritime Operator to join our 24/6 on-site operations team in Maassluis. You will monitor marine traffic, coordinate information, and provide real-time intelligence from the control room at the Port of Rotterdam.
The onboarding lasts 6–8 weeks with mentorship from an experienced operator, after which you work independently. Strong English skills are essential; Dutch is a plus and relocation is not required.
The North Sea doesn't take a day off, and neither do we.

What you'll do
As a Maritime Operator, you are the eyes, ears, and voice of Royal Dirkzwager. You'll monitor maritime operations, coordinate information, and respond to situations in real time.

Your onboarding
You won't be thrown in at the deep end. During your first 6 to 8 weeks, you'll complete a structured onboarding programme, working alongside an experienced senior operator while learning the systems, procedures, and responsibilities of the role.
Only when you're fully prepared will you start working independently. Many of our current senior operators started exactly where you are today.
