Job summary

Pathways is seeking an Advisor – Maritime Operations in Amsterdam to help take our maritime and offshore transformation projects to the next level. You will strengthen SME knowledge across maintenance, procurement, inventory, dry docking, projects, QHSSE, and document management while leading client workshops and ensuring practical, industry-aligned improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of core maritime processes (maintenance, procurement, inventory, dry docking, projects, QHSSE, document management).
• Operational experience from sailing or shore-based maritime roles (superintendent, fleet manager, technical manager or similar).
• Experience driving change and transformation within maritime organizations.
• Experience implementing planned maintenance systems (PMS) in a maritime setting.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen SME knowledge across core maritime processes and documents.
• Facilitate and lead client workshops on process management and requirements gathering.
• Act as content authority on core maritime processes.
• Apply best practices and manage stakeholder expectations during transformation.
• Bridge operations with client needs and identify practical improvements.
• Contribute to project deliverables to ensure solutions are sound and aligned with industry standards.
