Job summary

Braspenning UHP & Coatings in Rotterdam-Verolme seeks an Operations Manager to connect client, shipyard and execution teams, translating scope into work packages and steering supervisors and subcontractors. The role protects schedule, quality, HSE compliance and cost control while reporting to the General Manager.

You will drive multiple projects on-site, ensure safety, and oversee planning, resources and risk management with strong communication in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maritime/industrial projects
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Strong planning, organization and communication skills
• Willingness to work on-site and manage multiple teams

Responsibilities

• Translate client and contract requirements into clear work packages, scope and milestones
• Define project objectives and provide visibility to the General Manager
• Coordinate manpower, equipment and material planning across projects
• Lead supervisors and subcontractors and maintain agile, productive operations
• Control progress, changes, costs and variations, and manage orders
• Lead toolbox talks and project meetings with safety focus
• Investigate incidents and ensure HSE/VCA compliance per Dutch law
• Report risks, opportunities and improvements to General Manager
