Job summary

Focus Engineering is seeking a Technical Project Manager Automation to lead and coordinate engineering teams on maritime projects around Rotterdam. You will drive technical design, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

The role involves end-to-end project oversight from conception through handover, with emphasis on multidisciplinary engineering, risk mitigation, and adherence to client specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams on complex maritime projects.
• Proven ability to manage project planning from initiation to handover.
• Strong coordination between engineering, procurement and production.

Responsibilities

• You are working from start of the project up to handover to the client.
• You are responsible for planning and monitoring the activities of the Engineering team and providing technical support when issues arise.
• You are involved in the technical design process, including multidisciplinary engineering aspects.
• You are responsible for leading the Engineers in complex maritime projects.
• You support technical coordination, both internally and with suppliers.
• You coordinate project schedules with Procurement, Production, and Project Management.
