Job summary

Een internationaal constructiebedrijf zoekt een ervaren Marine Estimator om het tenderteam te versterken. In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het voorbereiden van nauwkeurige kostenramingen voor complexe mariene en kustbouwprojecten. Wij zoeken kandidaten met een diploma in civiele techniek en minimaal 5-8 jaar ervaring in kostenschatting. Deze functie biedt de mogelijkheid om te werken aan grote internationale projecten in een dynamische omgeving.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 5-8 jaar ervaring in kostenschatting voor mariene of zware civiele bouwprojecten.
• Ervaring met havens, mariene structuren of kustinfrastructuur is zeer gewenst.
• Bereidheid om internationaal te reizen wanneer nodig.

Responsibilities

• Verantwoordelijk voor het voorbereiden van nauwkeurige en competitieve kostenramingen.
• Samenwerken met engineering, inkoop en projectbeheer om hoogwaardig voorstellen te ontwikkelen.

Overview

Responsibilities

• We are looking for an experienced Marine Estimator to join our Ballast Nedam International tendering team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for complex marine and coastal construction projects such as ports, terminals, quay walls, jetties, dredging works, and coastal protection structures.
• You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to develop high-quality proposals and ensure that technical solutions are translated into realistic and competitive project budgets.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, Marine Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in cost estimation for marine or heavy civil construction projects.
• Experience with ports, marine structures, dredging, or coastal infrastructure is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.
• Ability to work in international and multicultural environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
