Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES in Breda is seeking a Production Operations Technician to support manufacturing and packaging equipment, ensuring reliable operation throughout the production process.

You will prepare equipment for production, respond to operational issues, complete GMP documentation, and maintain a safe, compliant working environment. The role requires hands-on technical work with automated equipment, good English communication, and willingness to work in a rotating shift schedule.

Qualifications

• MBO-level education or equivalent technical/production experience.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, or process operations.
• Experience with automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, or regulated manufacturing procedures.
• Experience completing GMP or production documentation.
• Familiarity with set-ups, changeovers, line clearance, and shutdown activities.
• Experience performing cleaning activities in a production environment.
• Good English communication.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Keep manufacturing and packaging equipment running smoothly throughout production.
• Prepare machines for different production runs, including set-ups, changeovers, line clearance, and shutdowns.
• Identify equipment or process issues and perform first-line troubleshooting.
• Make minor adjustments to restore or improve equipment performance.
• Complete GMP and production documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform cleaning activities in the production area as required.
• Follow GMP, SOP, quality, and safety procedures.
• Identify recurring issues and help reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Escalate complex problems to technical specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and technical teams to maintain smooth operations.
