Job summary
SIRE LIFE SCIENCES in Breda is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Support Engineer to ensure reliability and compliance of labelling and packaging operations across commercial and clinical production.
The role combines digital technology with manufacturing, supporting systems like SCADA, automated label printing, and mobile workstations. It is a hands-on position for problem-solvers focused on continuous improvement and manufacturing continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, automation, engineering, or related field.
- Up to 4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, IT, automation, or application support.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Good communication and collaboration with technical and operational teams.
- Willingness to learn GMP standards.
- Professional English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist in design, testing, qualification, and change management of manufacturing systems per GMP.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Breda and globally, plus external technology partners.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and support systems for both commercial and clinical production.
- Document processes and train staff on new technologies and systems.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to reliability improvements.
- Support and gradually take ownership of systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
