Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Nijmegen is seeking a Manufacturing Operator within Supply Chain Manufacturing to operate machinery, perform format changeovers, and ensure GMP and safety standards.

The role is a 1-year fixed-term contract with potential extension. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, exhibit strong attention to detail, and can work well in a team to support production and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and effective communication within a team.
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• LEAN tools and continuous improvement experience desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow SOPs, GMP, and safety protocols while keeping the work area clean to prevent contamination.
• Prepare and verify batch components and perform format changeovers for production runs.
• Manufacture products according to procedures, GMP, and quality standards.
• Conduct product inspections and in-process checks to ensure specifications.
• Prepare, document, and complete production records, including batch reconciliation and material transfers.
• Follow PPE and safety requirements and report risks per Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines.
• Support team members in manufacturing processes and assist with projects.
• Escalate deviations, batch mix-ups, or defects and communicate improvement opportunities.
