Job summary

OnLogic, based in Alkmaar, Netherlands, seeks an experienced Production/Manufacturing Engineer to scale our state‑of‑the‑art industrial computers. You will help develop tools and processes to improve efficiency, boost quality, and ensure timely order fulfillment, working hands‑on with the team to prevent downtime.

You’ll validate new products for production, improve manufacturability, create process documentation, and develop test automation.

Qualifications

• You have 5+ years of experience as a production/process/manufacturing engineer or similar responsibilities.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and test design.
• Experience with computer and software troubleshooting in Linux and Windows environments.
• Software development experience with full stack web development, JavaScript, SQL, Linux terminal, and ability to learn additional languages.
• Drive efficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Project management skills to prioritize and execute multiple projects.
• Collaborate with all levels and functions, internally and externally.
• Willingness to occasionally work outside production hours.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Preventing operations downtime and responding to escalations to enable quick production restarts, following through with root cause analysis and solution implementation.
• Validating new product readiness for production.
• Improving production and test processes for effective manufacturability.
• Creating process documentation, training, and operating instructions as appropriate.
• Implementing test automation tasks and developing new processes and tools.
• Providing support where needed to keep operations running smoothly, including assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing customer returns.
• Managing customer escalations related to production quality issues.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvements in product quality and production efficiency.
