Job summary

NTS Group in the Netherlands is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to bridge customer demand, engineering, and the shop floor. You will design, analyze, and optimize production processes and tooling to ensure manufacturability, repeatability, and cost efficiency for high-precision parts in challenging domains.

You will assess drawings for manufacturability, participate in NPI, and stay involved during scale-up to volume production.

Qualifications

• We seek an analytical, practically oriented engineer who can work on the shop floor and at the conference table.
• Experience with PFMEA and manufacturing processes is required.
• Strong Dutch and English communication in speech and writing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into efficient manufacturable production solutions.
• Assess drawings for manufacturability and advise engineering and customers.
• Develop and validate production processes, including test methodologies and PFMEAs.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose concrete improvements.
• Design and implement new or improved processes and measuring instruments.
• Advise on purchasing machines, tooling and measuring instruments.
• Support production with prototypes and scale-up to volume production.
