Job summary

Prodrive Technologies is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement of our high-tech production of computing cabinets. You will work on process optimization, participate in NPI, and collaborate with R&D to improve manufacturability.

You will be on the production floor daily, leading improvement initiatives and coordinating stakeholders to ensure project success, with English communication as a key requirement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset, with experience in process optimization.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and quality control methods such as process capability analysis, Six Sigma, capacity analysis, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA), etc.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Industrial Engineering preferred).
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in the field of Manufacturing Engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred, with experience applying Lean principles in a production setting.
• Experience working in a high-tech environment is a plus.
• Project management skills, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders and ensure project success.
• Comfortable with being present on the production floor and working closely with production and R&D teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.
• Drive major improvement projects within the department to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with the R&D department to improve product designs for manufacturability.
• Actively participate in New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring smooth transitions and efficient production processes.
• Be present on the floor daily, engaging with production teams to implement practical solutions.
• Apply project management skills to ensure improvement projects are completed effectively.
