Job summary

Deloitte Netherlands in Amsterdam seeks a Manager to accelerate growth in Engineering, AI and data-driven transformation. You will shape opportunities, define proposals, and guide technology experts from strategy to delivery.

As a trusted advisor, you will work with senior executives, orchestrate platform and product roadmaps, and lead end-to-end transformations across cloud, data, and AI. You will mentor teams and partner with Talent to attract top talent.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer and solution architect delivering complex enterprise-grade systems.
• Experience as Product Owner, Product Manager, Scrum Master or Tech Lead.
• Proven track record in shaping and delivering large-scale Engineering, Cloud, AI and Data transformation programmes end-to-end.
• Extensive experience advising senior executives and acting as a strategic partner.

Responsibilities

Experience and leadership

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer and solution architect, delivering complex, enterprise-grade systems
• Relevant project experience in which you acted as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Scrum Master or Tech Lead
• Proven track record in shaping and delivering large-scale Engineering, Cloud, AI and Data transformation programmes end-to-end
• Extensive experience advising senior executives and acting as a strategic partner
• Deep passion for technology, combining broad knowledge with strong depth in key domains
• Able to simplify complex technical topics into clear, actionable insights

In-depth experience with various technology stacks, including:

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP; cloud-native architectures such as microservices, serverless and Kubernetes;
• Data and AI platforms: Databricks, Snowflake, real-time data streaming(e.g., Kafka, Airflow) and MLOps;
• Generative AI and advanced analytics: LLMs, prompt engineering, AI orchestration and responsible AI;
• Integration and APIs: event-driven architecture and API management;
• DevoOps and platform engineering: CI/CD, infrastructure as code and observability;
• On-premise infrastructure and open source tools;

Commercial and stakeholder impact

• Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, shape value propositions and build long-term client relationships
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, inspiring teams and aligning diverse stakeholders

As a Manager in this role, you will build and nurture strong client relationships while uncovering strategic opportunities to drive business development. You'll guide clients through technology selection and critical business decisions, leveraging your versatile background to lead comprehensive end-to-end implementations. From problem definition and value articulation through stakeholder engagement, team structuring, build coordination, go-live management, and post-launch support, you'll own the entire delivery lifecycle.

Beyond your technical expertise, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, translating complex concepts into clear business outcomes for senior stakeholders. You'll also mentor and guide junior colleagues, fostering their professional growth and building high-performing teams that deliver exceptional results.
